Insider's Guide to Nantucket

More 60 racers joined Neil Foley and the Nantucket Conservation Foundation on October 30, 2022, for the NCF’s inaugural Batacular Bike Race.  This off-road race had two loops–one 8.5 miles and one 17 miles–through the Cranberry Bogs, Middle Moors, Serengeti, and Altar Rock.

It was a thrilling mountain bike ride on some of the most beautiful trails found on the island, and includes both rugged and sandy terrain. The Batacular Race was timed to coincide with 2022 International Bat Week on Nantucket.
